Le Cégep@distance
If you would like to take college-level credited courses at home, at your speed and at all times of the year, log on to the Cegep@distance website and you will find a wide array of courses and programs. One can register for a DEC, an AEC or general education courses. The Cegep@distance programs are offered on a full-time and part-time basis. The Cegep@distance also offers the possibility of having a college studies application evaluated to allow for a return to studies. A recognition of experience service is also available.

If you are a young adult (between 16 and 35 years) and you are searching for the following information: general, reference, evaluation, career guidance or are in need of support for a return to school, consult the Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi website, an organization dedicated to helping young adults return to school and look for jobs.
Emploi-Québec
Emploi-Québec offers adults school information and reference concerning its measures and services, training activities for adults, trades and professions and how to locate the local employment centre (CLE) in their area.

The ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport L’Inforoute is a telematic network of information of technical and vocational training in Quebec. Loans and Bursaries for Part-Time Students
Adult applicants registered in 2 or 3 courses (less than 180 course hours per semester) can benefit from financial aid that covers school fees as well as daycare costs, if applicable. For more in-depth information and to determine your eligibility, click here.
High School Course Equivalencies
Adults looking for high school prerequisites required for undertaking college studies can consult the table of equivalencies between the youth sector course codes (SÉSAME) and the adult sector course codes (SAGE) that the ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport publishes. Recognition of Experience
School isn’t the only place where a person can learn. Work experience, on-the-job training, company training sessions, volunteer work and personal activities are equally important sources of learning. Through the recognition of experience, it is possible to credit various knowledge and skills on the condition that they are equivalent to college level courses.
This evaluation can take one of the following forms: a portfolio (developed beforehand with an advisor), a written test, a practical test, or an interview. For further information, contact the cégeps listed below among the list of disciplines.
